Galing Pook Foundation is looking for a Local Coordinator!

Project Description:
Galing Pook Foundation serves as the Local Service Provider (LSP) for the USAID- funded project entitled, CATALYZE, which is implemented by Palladium. CATALYZE promotes sustainable employment and improvement in health outcomes. It engages with young adults (ages 18-24) who are members of 4Ps households, have graduated from senior high school, and are preparing to enter the labor force. The project’s objectives are aligned with the Philippine Development Plan (2023-2028), specifically in enhancing social protection measures and creating opportunities for employment and healthcare accessibility.

Scope of Work

  1. Lead the implementation of the project in the assigned site (Pasig or Naic) by ensuring the timely conduct of activities in line with the approved work plan, especially in facilitating the Community Outreach, Information Sessions and Orientation;
  2. Primarily responsible for meeting the target number of applicants within the assigned project site as a result of the various activities conduct;
  3. Serve as the primary liaison between Galing Pook Foundation and the assigned Local Government Unit to ensure that the plans, activites, outputs and results are aligned with the overall project design;
  4. Strengthen partnerships and linkages with the local government unit especially the Municipal Social Welfare Development Office (MSWDO), Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), Sangguniang Kabataan, Barangay Officials, and with the various schools and community-based organizations in order to reach out to potential applicants;
  5. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the project by engaging with partners and stakeholders;
