Galing Pook Foundation is looking for a Communications Specialist!

Project Description:
Galing Pook Foundation serves as the Local Service Provider (LSP) for the USAID- funded project entitled, CATALYZE, which is implemented by Palladium. CATALYZE promotes sustainable employment and improvement in health outcomes. It engages with young adults (ages 18-24) who are members of 4Ps households, have graduated from senior high school, and are preparing to enter the labor force. The project’s objectives are aligned with the Philippine Development Plan (2023-2028), specifically in enhancing social protection measures and creating opportunities for employment and healthcare accessibility.

Scope of Work

1. Develop a strategic communications plan that combines digital and on-the-ground promotions to encourage young adult 4Ps to join the CATALYZE program;
2. Prepare social media posts including captions, publication materials, reels and short videos related to CATALYZE;
3. Develop the key messages and slogan that will be used for the various promotional materials and merchandise for the project;
4. Provide support in expanding the partnerships and linkages of the project especially with the general public through the implementation of the strategic communications plan;
5. Collaborate with the graphic designer and video producers to align the content and messaging to the overall communications plan;
6. Coordinate with the Project Manager and the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer to ensure that the targets are met and the right strategies are employed in line with the data analysis and assessment;
7. Generate reports related to the communications and promotions of the project; and
8. Regularly report to the Project Manager who oversees the project.
